OFC Roll our and Maintenance

    • Cable disruptions along OFC routes on fixed stretches are prevented by patrolling
    • Preventive and Corrective Maintenance is performed as defined in the SLA/SOW
    • Every month, we test all fibers for block sections and report the results
    • Defects in the fiber or any associated equipment are repaired in consultation with the Customer site
    • Monitoring of repeater stations and optical equipment installed for alarms
    • Assists in identifying and correcting faults in breakdowns of OFCs by mobilizing equipment and skilled human resources 24 hours a day, seven days a week
    • After the fault has been corrected, test link attributes such as the splice loss/link loss will be corrected
    • Splicing and terminating optical fiber cables with O&M teams

    OPTIC FIBER CABLE SPLICING AND TERMINATION

    Maintenance of OFC routes 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for routine maintenance and breakdown maintenance.

    For every range defined by the Customer, O&M has a supervisor, splicer, assistant splicer, patroller, and helper.

    Patrollers are transported in a manner determined by the Customer.

    A four-wheeler with a driver is available 24 hours a day with all the equipment (Splicing machine, OTDR, Power Meter, Portable Generator set, and supporting tools).
